One: excess capacity, small business size
According to statistics, at present, there are about 2,000 packaging kraft paper companies in China, and there are only about 80 paper-making kraft paper companies with a level of more than 1 million tons. However, most of the companies are still small workshops. In particular, papermaking equipment is still far behind compared with developed countries.
2: Reliance on foreign pulp too much, lack of homemade commercial pulp
China's paper pulp for packaging kraft papers mainly relies on imports from abroad, and is greatly affected by external influences. According to the latest statistics from the US Pulp Bureau this year, 80% of US pulp is exported to China. At present, there are less than one-third of the kraft paper manufacturers that can produce their own pulp in China.

China's packaging kraft paper manufacturers are mainly concentrated in the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta. Industrial clusters are too high, large and medium-sized enterprises are scattered, and the entire industry chain is not connected properly, resulting in low profit for the entire packaging kraft paper industry.
